Shell Ecuador is where missionaries, Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Ed McCully, Peter Fleming, and Roger Youderian were based while trying to evangelize the Waorani tribe. Their ministry was back in the 1950’s, so Shell has come a long way since then. Here is a link to the movie trailer “End of the Spear” which shows the life of these missionaries in Shell.

In Shell Ecuador we are working with Pastor Melvin and his church to share the Gospel and with Mercedes Chimarro in a community called Sisa Llakta, located in Te Zulay. Te Zulay is made up of 7 different tribes transitioning from the Amazon jungle with @ 4,000 in this community.

Mindo Ecuador is where I have been doing ministry for the past 14 years. It is located in the Andes mountains which is the Cloud Forest region of Ecuador and the local pastors there are amazing to work with. We will be working with the local church in Mindo and going into the outlying villages to share the love of Christ. Mindo is also known as the bird watching capital of the world.
